Chip holds a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Interpersonal Communications from the University of South Florida. He was trained as a Clinical Therapist at Tampa General Healthcare University Psychiatry Center. Along with his private practice, Chip works as a Training Specialist in the Division of Education and Training of the Department of Community Mental Health, Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute at the University of South Florida. He is also an Adjunct Faculty Member at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida. He worked in corporate management for 15 years prior to his career in mental health.
Chip is a trained civil mediator and worked as a Juvenile Arbitrator for the thirteenth judicial circuit for 5 years. He is also a member of the Tampa Bay Regional Critical Incident team. He is an experienced and motivational trainer in both interpersonal and clinical topics.
